The retreat space at Shamballa was incredible. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, nature, and water at the edge of the property, it created a sense of safety and calm that allowed me to slow down, settle, and be fully present in the process.
The staff were wonderful, and the food was exceptional. There was so much care, warmth, and genuine joy in the way everything was offered. It felt nourishing on every level.
**Shelly as a Facilitator**
Shelly has a rare ability to hold deep work. Throughout the retreat, I felt safe, held, and seen. Her intuition, perception, and experience were evident in every part of the journey.
She created a space where difficult emotions could be met with compassion rather than judgment, allowing each person to move at the pace that felt right for them.
**The Depth of the Work**
This was not surface-level personal development. It was deep emotional and personal work.
The Know Your Soul Retreat gave me the opportunity to acknowledge, process, and release parts of myself that had been carrying shame, anger, disappointment, and grief. It helped me reconnect with aspects of myself that had been hidden beneath years of coping, surviving, and protecting.
The work felt gentle, yet profound. It invited honesty, presence, and a willingness to meet what was ready to be seen.
**Changes After the Retreat**
Returning home after three weeks, I felt different.
Softer in some ways, yet stronger in others.
There was a greater sense of peace, a deeper connection to myself, more clarity, and a feeling of slowing down that continues to unfold. I felt more present in my body and more connected to what truly matters.
Even physically, I noticed changes. The pain in my knee continues to soften and release, reminding me that healing can occur on many levels when we create the space for it.
This retreat was a powerful reminder that sometimes the deepest transformation does not come through pushing harder, but through feeling safe enough to soften, listen, and reconnect with who we truly are.
